Our sponsored rider Marty Bales of Bales Performance Horses, LLC had a great showing at the NRHA Derby, qualifying for the finals on this stunning 6-year-old colt, White Tye Affair. If this gorgeous beast doesn’t say healthy horse, I don’t know what does!

SynNutra Team Member Sophie Simpson of Blue Ridge Farms, LLC started back to the shows with a bang by winning the $5,000 1.35m Speed Challenge at Nilforushan Equisport Events’ first week of Temecula on her very own A Picasso De Vie. Congratulations, Sophie and Pickle! We are happy to be working with Blue Ridge Farms and their top-notch program!

I am so excited joining the SynNutra Equine team! We have used their products on our high performance horses at TSS for years & are thrilled to partner with them in a sponsored role! GastroMend, SynOsteon, and SynChill are some of my favorites! They make horses happy!!!

Michael Tokaruk

Please join us in welcoming Michael Tokaruk to the SynNutra Team! We are as happy as a horse on SynNutra products to join forces with this talented athlete and horseman. Michael has long been a fan of SynChill and GastroMend products to keep his horses performing their best! His career highlights include winning the WCHR Legacy Cup Hunter Finals as a professional, has won multiple Grands Prix over the years– reaching 15 career Grand Prix wins!

We are thrilled to announce our two new Promoters, Chrissie Catto heading up the hunter/ jumper division in the Southeast, and Ruth Sorrel heading up our Western Division.

Chrissie Catto

Chrissie Catto resides in St. Augustine, Florida and has the perfect balance between family and show life. While in her junior and early amateur years, she worked with many top farms and professionals in the horse industry and currently trains with Chad and Brooke Watridge of Ridgewater Show Stables.

Chrissie is a devoted mom to her 7-year-old son Barrett and greatly enjoys being “baseball mom.” She has ridden since the age of 5, so if you happen by the farm you can expect to find her working on her partnership with her horse, Intuition, aka “Amigo”.  Amigo is a 15-year-old Warmblood Gelding with a decorated show career which includes performances at Madison Square Gardens, Capitol Challenge, and Washington International Horse Show.

In just a few years, Chrissie and Intuition’s partnership has led them to a championship at USHJA Zone 4 Adult Amateur Finals, a championship at WEF, top ribbons in National Hunter Derbies, and many top place finishes in the Adult Amateurs all along the East coast.

Please join us in welcoming Chrissie to the SynNutra family!  Be on the lookout for Chrissie at shows across the Southeast!

Ruth Sorrel

Ruth currently resides in Chapin, South Carolina where she operates her own consulting business, Sorrel Equestrian Consulting, to help young men and women create a path to ride in college. She, Kelly and their daughter spend most of their time at the barn with their Quarter Horse, Elliott. Ruth attends numerous NRHA and Quarter Horse shows as her daughter rides with Potts Performance Horses in Fountain Inn, SC.

Ruth coached College Equestrian for 16 years and was admired and valued by everyone in her path. Ruth was a member of the University of South Carolina IHSA Varsity equestrian team for three years and served as Captain her Senior year.

After graduation, Ruth had the opportunity to coach at Fresno State University, Auburn University, and then landed at her alma mater for 14 years. She watched the program at South Carolina evolve into the first-class NCEA Division 1 team it is today. During her time at South Carolina, she coached her team to win three back-to-back SEC Champion titles in 2012, 2013, and 2014.

Her team also won two National Championships in 2007 and 2015. Many were named to the First Team All-American Team and SEC Riders of the Year.

In her spare time when they are not horse showing, you might find Ruth and her family enjoying the outdoors and playing on Lake Murray or relaxing with her 3 dogs and 2 cats!

We are happy to welcome Ruth to the SynNutra team, so give her a hearty high five when you see her at the upcoming All-American Quarter Horse Congress and the Quarter Horse Youth World!

We constantly receive phone calls and emails from customers who have seen drastic improvements in their horse after trying SynNutra products and we would like to extend appreciation by beginning a Customer Spotlight Series.

If you are interested in being featured, write in or email us at info@synnutra.com, tell us about you and your horse, and please send a picture.  We LOVE hearing these success stories!  This is why we do what we do!

Wishing everyone a SAFE and successful summer!
